Perishable Care for our Haut-ChocolatUpdated a month ago
How to care for your haut-chocolat
- Truffles, Caramel Marshmallows (perishable): Eat within 14 days of shipping (check the “Packed on Date” on the Care Card).
- Other items (bonbons, toffee, vegan truffles, scotch infused truffles, bombes etc.): Last longer—check the “best by” sticker on back of collection.
- Chocolate bars: Have a printed best-by date on the foil wrapper.
Some Vosges Haut-Chocolat truffles are made with perishable ingredients and must be consumed within 14 days of shipping. There will be a Care Card included with the shipment which indicates the "Packed on Date" to reference for these collections. The shelf life information is also listed on the product page under "Details and Care".
Store chocolates at a cool room temperature (around 65°F); refrigeration isn’t necessary unless noted. Keep them in their sealed wrap until you’re ready to eat.
Let truffles reach room temperature before opening. After opening, store leftovers wrapped in plastic in the fridge or in a cool, dry place.
For longer storage, freeze truffles (sealed) for up to 8 weeks, then thaw for about 3 hours before enjoying.
